Darren McGavin? Noooo. I just watched him on TV a couple months ago, again for about the 20th time (in A Christmas Story).

I hate to seem callous, but those guys all died to me a long time ago. I don't even recognize Darren McGavin and barely know Dennis Weaver's face, and I probably last saw Don Knotts on Three's Company 25 years ago. On the bright side (?) they all managed to get 80+ years of life.

Well, I was especially sad to see that Barney Fife died. I grew up watching him on The Andy Griffith Show, Three's Company, and numerous Disney movies. I thought he was just simply adorable.

And A Christmas Story is one of my favorite movies. I was sad to find out that he died, as well.
