Re: Web Comics
Followup, electric manga now has searching and sorting features, making it actually pretty usable for trying to find comics.

I hate it when that happens.

Forgotten password reset feature is on the "requested" list, but I've been swamped.

Re: Web Comics
Reset feature could be as simple as doing it directly to the database and sending a PM to me.
Although I haven't actually done much to my profile yet, so it's not a hassle to create a new login.

I don't get it. What's he doing? Drinking a beer? Cuz that's regular atheist, not militant atheist. It's also regular Christian.

I think he's supposed to be militant because he's wearing his red A shirt, and the joke is that atheists are militant if they talk about atheism instead of keeping it in the closet.

Re: Web Comics
Today's Penny Arcade is pretty goddamm awesome:
I love this sort of tiny glimpse into a fantasy setting, and the artwork is a fun departure from PA's usual style.

Re: Web Comics
Here's the second of the three story lines Penny Arcade is trying out. I love this one. Brilliant.

Re: Web Comics
The third one is up today:
I wouldn't have guessed it, but the Jim Darkmagic story is by far the worst of the three.

Re: Web Comics
I gotta agree with Adam (damn, is this becoming a habit?), the Jim Darkmagic is just a little disappointing. For me, the best depiction I've seen of Jim is when the D&D adventure was just starting up (the one with Wil Wheaton). The others are getting the quest information from the contact, while Jim is entertaining the troops with magic tricks like pulling doves from his sleeves.
This one is just a little too dark, what with the accidental murder and all.
Of the three, I think I love "Lookouts" the most. "Automata" shows a lot of promise and if we could have them both, I'd prefer it.

Re: Web Comics
Maybe I'm just in more of a sci-fi mood these days, but my vote is for Automata.
