Horse Girl has great taste in music. That was an amazing movie...because of what Bryan Adams did with the music.

Plus anyone that likes godon lightfoot is OK in my book!

Geddy Lee can be grating, especially as he's gotten older. But I enjoy their stuff from when I was a teen.

Funny thing about Alanis wgat's her name is, 10 years ago, she was this 'take me seriously, I'm an artist, I'm so deep' type person. Always brooding and contemplative and pensive.

Then, when the gas ran out of her big album, she disappeared for a few years and comes back dyed blond and bubbly and perky with this huge, scary, immovable smile plastered to her face...

Well, which is it?

Both really. she was always the perky smile plastered on her face girl, she released an album using just her first name...it was bubble and perky and had the plastered smile.

Jagged Little Pill came from a darker place in her life, a bad break up....and still mostsly with the smille....

Alanis may not be as popular these days as 10 years ago but with just a few throw aways on her recent records, eveything has been great. "Under Rug Swept" has several timeless pieces. "So-called Chaos" is potent. The DVD "Feast on Scraps" is a must have. Hey, I'm a 51 year old guy who got into rock when rock became rock--Beatles, Beach Boys, Hendrix, Who, Kinks, Pink Floyd, all the way through XTC, new wave and alternative. This chick is for real as a lasting artist, even if the tide of popularity ebbs. I hope she has a child or two and comes back out with a later life career resurgence because she really knows how to get rock music "right". She's brilliant and I hope there's more where what she's given has come from. I wager in her favor.

I happen to like Weird Al :P

And we've produced a number of people to make up for any bad comedians:

Jim Carrey
John Candy
Martin Short
Mike Myers
Eugene Levy
Norm Macdonald
Rick Moranis
Dave Thomas
All of the Kids in the Hall

and so many more

Oh, and I love early Rush.
