Another from the abusive child man playbook, threatening to hand NPR’s handle over to trolls if they refuse to come back to him.
“In an unprompted Tuesday email, Musk wrote: "So is NPR going to start posting on Twitter again, or should we reassign @NPR to another company?"
"National Pumpkin Radio," Musk wrote, adding a fire emoji and a laughing emoji to describe the content of the fictional gourd-themed broadcaster. "NPR isn't tagged as government-funded anymore, so what's the beef?"
In response to legal process and to ensure Twitter remains available to the people of Turkey, we have taken action to restrict access to some content in Turkey today.

Musk hosts anti-trans video by hatemonger Matt Walsh on twitter, multiple people who reassure brands their money is well spent at twitter quit.
For additional context not only is one of Musk’s children trans, his ex-wife briefly dated Chelsea Manning after they split, which I’m sure has nothing to do with his promotion of anti-trans hate.
At some point only white men will pay for twitter because no one else will be willing to give Musk their address or details for fear who he might sell them too.
Pour one out for Twitter's lawyers who are going to have to spin this tweet in court and then get stiffed on the payment for their legal work. pic.twitter.com/GxT5TDZRN5

Twitter is being sued for $250M by Music Publishers for copyright violations. The same group went after and settled with others like tiktok for allowing posts with copyrighted backing music. Twitter of course responded with a poop emoji.
They are also being evicted from their Boulder Colorado office for non-payment of rent.
I think I’ve cracked the code to being rich, just don’t pay anyone and make them spend the money and effort to sue.
When the Hunt campaign reached out to Twitter to inquire about the holdup, an employee said the video was blocked from promotion because of “the mention of abortion advocacy.”
“Ah yes, the mention of abortion advocacy is the issue here,” a Twitter employee told Hunt’s campaign Wednesday in an email reviewed by HuffPost. The employee said the company may have “some good news to share on that front” in the next week or so, seemingly suggesting it may change its standards and practices on content discussing abortion rights.
Elon’s free speech absolutism is as coherent as everything else that narcissistic piece of shit espouses.
For what it’s worth, I do think a company like twitter can choose to not allow or promote some points of view, but I’m not a free speech absolutist who conflates firms for the government like some Elon might do.
For what it’s worth, I do think a company like twitter can choose to not allow or promote some points of view...
What about governments forcing Twitter (and all other platforms) to censor?

I truly believe this is one of the most important things anyone has ever said about Elon Musk. The quote below summarizes perfectly how much his presence in the public sphere wastes everyone’s time and is on many occasions profoundly dangerous as well as premeditatedly dishonest. pic.twitter.com/EGefe1z0Dl
I always form my opinion of succesful people based on the opinions of nobodies. Same for the richest people in the world. I don't care what they have done, I don't care about how much wealth that have, or have created. My opinion of them is always based on absolute nobodies who post their opinions online.

Because nobody cares, that's the person I listen to. Nobody.
