I'm not dishonest in any way, and I'm certainly not willfully ignorant. That's just an excuse to avoid having to face up to the fact that science may have gotten it wrong.

It wouldn't change anything Lone Ranger, because your essay (which, by the way, is very well done in my opinion) describes the different parts of the eye, but it is not enough to discredit Lessans' claim of efferent vision.

I rearranged different sections so it read more smoothly, and I also took out a few passages. It is much more concise, but if I took out everything people complained about, I would have to write a new book, which I'm sure everyone would relish.
