Christopher Lee, the world's most famous Dracula, is awarded a knighthood for his 60-year career in acting.

The 87-year-old Hammer Horror star has made more films than any other actor alive.

He made his name in blood-curdling roles such as Dracula, The Mummy and The Hound Of The Baskervilles, all co- starring Peter Cushing, and went on to play Scaramanga in the James Bond film The Man With The Golden Gun.

I wonder if he was awarded a manor house of his own?

There usually wasn't a lot of dialogue, so that probably didn't help. Of course in the last one he did, that was because he refused to speak the lines that had been written, saying that they were awful. I imagine too, that the spectre of Bela Lugosi hung over the role, as that actor's career was also defined by being typecast by it.

Be that as it may, reading just a LITTLE bit about what Lee has done outside of acting will tell you this is a LONG time coming.
