Question looking for a link to an old online set of games

I've seen it posted a couple of places over the years, but cannot now remember the name and google has not been my friend in trying to find it again ... Does anyone remember a downloadable set of small games, like 12-15 single-player games, called "somebody-or-other's favorite games"? It included a 4-color map game, a finish-the-electric-circuit game, some block-moving games I couldn't figure out, a crossed-line net-pulling game, and so on? I feel :dopey: that I can't remember ...

I know exactly what you're talking about. I may have something somewhere but it'll take me time to find it.

Dear lisarea, one of my combat boot socks went missing from the drawer, leaving me with an odd number of them. Can you tell me where the missing sock is?

A new type of Loopy puzzle has been recently added - the 4x5 Compass-Dodecagonal - Hard

It's no harder than the other dodecagonal loopy puzzles in my experience - usually possible to solve first try and with no, or very little, guessing-and-backtracking.

It's in my sock drawer. Sorry about that.
I'm surprised it wasn't in Yakima, Washington. Missing socks usually end up there.

I've started using the custom setting on Loopy, to make larger-than-standard versions of the non-square puzzles.

Here's an example: Loopy, from Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection

Not specially difficult, but they take longer to complete because there's a bigger area to fill in.

I've been doing extra-large versions for ages. At least since I got a 4K monitor last year.

...and another new type of Loopy has been added in April 2023.

This time, it's the 'hats' layout. https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/puzzles/js/loopy.html :hatsoff:

Since June I have been literally crack-addict levels of addicted to Loopy, no exaggeration. I tried a few different shapes, but I pretty quickly landed on playing hexagonal exclusively.

I can't send a right-click on the phone to eliminate a line, which was annoying at first, but it just took more practice to play with that level of challenge. So now when I'm on the computer and can right-click, I play the oppose way, where I only eliminate lines, and I wait until the loop is done to mark any of them. That's even harder!

Which version are you playing on the phone? Mine (Simon Tatham's Puzzles by "Chris Boyle" on Android) allows long-press to clear a line, and a toggle to swap long and short press actions.

Or do you specifically want a physical right mouse button? :P

I'm playing this version: Loopy, from Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection on safari on the iphone. Supposedly a long-touch is equivalent to a right click, but I can't get it to work with my setup. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
