Tis the season... for colds and flus everywhere! :cold:

I managed to avoid getting sick until one week from my work x-mas party. Two of my co-workers have been spewing their cooties everywhere for the past week and it looks like their hard work paid off! Yay is me! :glare:

I hope it's just a code and not da flu. Eitha way, my dose is snoddy :hayfever:

, I have a headache :headache:

, a sore throat, and I feel like :shit:

in general. Awesome! :party3:

Spray, ooze, or otherwise wipe your own complaints here. :sneeze:

Awww Shelli, I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is no fun.

I'm just having killer menstrual cramps and a fever because of it. But at least it's not contagious (other than my bitchiness).

I've been bringing up mucous since before Thanksgiving. You'd think there would be an end to it eventually, or at least that my weight would go down.

I'm about 100% over my cold I had last week. None of my coworkers have come down with it, so I really didn't do my job right.

I think all of my coworkers are healthy right now. Thank goodness. Last time someone was sick my supervisor had them hawk a loogie into a cell culture flask with a little bit of serum and media to see what would grow. Ewwwwwwwww.

It's warm here, but not really really hot. I don't have a blocked nose or anything but I do feel drained and occasionally achy ... no excuse for it, though, and that's worse.

I havnt had a bad cold in a few years, and the flue has missed me 9 years in a row now. really i've had nothing worse than than head cold in years.

wach me, ill probabaly be layed up for a month for bragging on here right?

Been there, bought the teeshirt already.

I just got over the final traces of this year's early cold. It was primarily focused on the throat (larynx). It took me down for two days of sick time, but I bravely got out of my deathbed and took it to work to spread around. Man...talk about hacking cough for two stinkin' weeks. I, of course, gave it to at least one co-worker and we then proceeded to make the library sound like the TB ward. Then - I had to deal with excess phlegm for another two to three weeks. Horking is not a fun pastime. Of course, if I didn't, I went right back into a gale of hacking coughs.

That's past now. Finally. Now the only cough I get is when I blow a toke.

I must be fortunate. I rarely get sick. The only time I ever had the flu, ironically enough, was the one year i actually bothered to get a flu shot.

I did have an itchy nose a few weeks ago, but that was just the pollen from the leaves blowing off the trees. Sneezed for three days. Set my own personal record, five straight sneezes. I'd had four in a row lots of times, but never five.

thier is close to 160 people at the machine shop where I work. And I'm incontact wiht a young lady over at yahoo personals right now....fingers crossed on this one working out. she aint bad looking and if all she says is true has personality to match.

I havnt brought up the tricky issue of my having pet snakes yet. she runs a small animal shelter (rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, mice etc) ...... I'm gonna have to play this one smoothely, and im better known for tripping and falling on my ass.

You all are making me so nervous. I haven't gotten even so much as the sniffles so far this year and we are set to take a big roadtrip to Texas in a little over a week. The way my timing is......
