OH MY GOD.

I just finished having a mini panic attack freak out. My bestie talked me down from the cliff but STILL.

Y'all I spent over $700 on shoes today. On a single pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. :faint:

I am a practical Demi. A cheap Demi. I have never spent that much on a whole ensemble. That is like more than half a mortgage payment. A quarter of a cash car. A truckload of candy. A hot tub full of booze. Fuck that is a lot of money. It didn't really hit me until I was looking at the receipt and I saw the tax was $54. I can't even tell you the last time I spent $54 on shoes let alone $700.

But they are gorgeous, magic shoes. They go with my dress magnificently. They were even comfy for four inch platforms. It took twenty minutes for them to convince me to try them on but then I never wanted to take them off again. Even moreso, they only had one pair, in my size, which fit me perfectly. They are Cinderella shoes y'all.

They are twice as much as my wedding dress*, but I think they will be an investment. I mean, I could wear them for twenty years. That's practical right? And as my friend pointed out, I am so cheap, if you look at the piles of things I haven't bought over the last ten years it would buy a chorus line of these shoes. And as the sales girl pointed out, I got my dress 30% off, so I saved $200, plus I got a $100 gift card which I can use for sexy lingerie. The shoes practically paid for themelves. (I reject this reasoning though I WANT TO BELIEVE.) But ideally, you only get married once, so make it fucking count.

*Oh yeah. I am marrying Contra one week from today. He is trying to make an honest woman of me. So that is happening. It was supposed to be an elopement, but beans were spilled and cats were leaping out of bags everywhere. So I figured I might as well tell my :ff:

buds since everyone else knows now. :heart:

But I am seriously freaking out over these shoes.

Those are some fancy shoes. They at least look good enough to cost $700. Of course, I would rather spend that kind of money on graphics cards for my computer instead. I think I see computer hardware similarly to how some people see shoes.
