Re: Countdown from one million thread
I saw a hawk perched on a stop sign a few minutes ago when I was out driving on an errand run. It looked like it was a young adult or a juvenile. What a handsome and regal creature!

Re: Countdown from one million thread
9886319 raptors are cool, no doubt
i really wish we had followed franklins advice and gone with the turkey as our bird though, cuz everyone uses eagles, rome, germany, im sure there are more, but the turkey, no one uses it.

Very cool, Capp! I love the glimpses of hawks and eagles when driving around minding my own business.
Bey, is it because the turkey is a stupid bird?

With all this Injustice, he is never in good Case but like those among Men who live by Sharping & Robbing he is generally poor and often very lousy. I am on this account not displeased that the Figure is not known as a Bald Eagle, but looks more like a Turkey. For the Truth the Turkey is in Comparison a much more respectable Bird, and withal a true original Native of America . . . Re: Countdown from one million thread
986,309 I've always heard that Ben Franklin wanted the wild turkey to be the national symbol, and not the eagle.

Re: Countdown from one million thread
986308 according to wikipedia the above quote is the only place he mentioned something like that and it was in a letter to his daughter, i think it might be more accurate to say that franklin thought the bald eagle to be a shitty natinal symbol and the tukey to be a better one.

I wonder why in English the nouns are no longer always capitalized like in German.

Re: Countdown from one million thread
986,306 I don't know, but ever since I took German in HS I have often wated to capitalize a lot of nouns for no particular reason.

Re: Countdown from one million thread
Level 30?! Wow, I didn't think they went up that high. I'm currently working on the Mage Guild and Fighter Guild quests, just started playing the game a few weeks ago. The painting quest is in the town that starts with C and is east of the Imperial City(Cheyherrid or something like that) You'll need to go to one of the houses there, house of Rymas T-longassname who's a painter. It's near where the Mage's Guild is in that town.
