The medicos may not test for H1N1 unless you are hospitalized because the treatment is the same as for the regular flu, or so my ER doctor sister says.

What piece of shit software now-a-days cannot compensate to daylight savings time?

Time zones and daylight savings time are controlled on our systems by domain policy to ensure that every computer is in the correct TZ for its' physical location. This cannot be changed, no exceptions.

That the truck diagnostic software that you are using is requiring PST when your physically located in CST is not my problem. Well it is my problem in so far that you won't shut the hell up, but really there is nothing I can do about it.

So yesterday, I cut my right index finger opening a can of dog food. It started at the outside right under the nail, then went fully around onto the pad and got like half the circumference of my finger. It made a large flap of flesh, and it bled for something like two hours. Literally for like two hours, pressing against it and holding it over my head before it slowed down enough to put a bandaid on it. So I did, but it has reopened like 50 times and I am running out of paper towels to soak up the blood, and do you know how many motherfuckers it hurts as much as when it gets ripped open again? Seven is how many!

So anyways, it just opened back up again and I had just gotten done with rebandaging it again, so I was being extra super conscientious of my finger, which made me walk into a doorframe with my kneecap.

So I am going to go down to the assisted living center at the end of the street and move in there now.

ARG. Dear People Who Bring a Child to the Hearing Site (or any where else for that matter). If you don't bring something for the child to do while they sit in a room filled with chairs and absolutely nothing else, I really don't see how you can complain when the child is bored out of his/her skull and starts to act out. If you know you're going to sit in a room for an hour at least, maybe you should bring a snack or a game or a book with you.

AND WHO Doesn't feed their kid lunch before an afternoon hearing? (Besides my clients, of course.)

Also, what's the deal with the lack of communication between parents and children? Am I the freakin' Child Whisperer because I can have a conversation with an 8 year old? Or did I miss the life lesson where you only say "Stop that" and grunt at minors?

Okay, this is too timely not to rant on. So a classmate and I exchange numbers so we can share notes etc a few weeks into the semester. She skips class today and CALLS ME IN THE MIDDLE OF LECTURE. Not at the begining of class, not at the end, right smack dab in the middle of the class. Of course this is the one time I don't put my phone on silent so it's all playing the A Team theme while I scramble for my phone.
