I know almost nothing about what is happening in Somalia but the fact that dipshits with large platforms (like Jimmy Dore) are saying this action proves that Democrats are worse than Trump on foreign policy is just mind-numbingly stupid.
I've said before that Biden was something like my fifth choice among Democratic candidates in 2020, but hey, credit where credit's due. He may have been the one and only person who could follow the Trump administration, described by Patton Oswalt as a tractor-trailer rig loaded with monkeys and PCP that crashed into a train loaded with diarrhea, and gotten anything done at all.

It's such a faint echo of the "Build Back Better" it once was that it's hard for me to be excited about it, but it's absolutely a Good Thing™. What will make it exponentially better is if the Dems figure out a way to screw Manchin out of whatever Schumer promised him to get him to go along.

I'm becoming increasingly worried about Biden's mental health. How bad does he need to get before the V.P. takes over? The media were all over Trump when he spouted nonsense, but mostly seem to give Biden an easy ride.
Dark Brandon delivers a Jean Claude van Damme 360-degree spin kick to the crotches of multiple wingnuts bitching about student loan debt relief.

The secret to screwing Manchin out of whatever he was promised is to make him no longer the median vote in the Senate, by electing more Democrats to it.
The 538 forecast indicates this is... actually a real possibility.
Republicans going so extreme in combination with nominating incompetents like Dr. Oz (in a seat they already held!) and Herschel Walker might make it so they can't win a purple state like PA or a purple-red state like GA in a Democratic President's midterm.
Thanks almost entirely to social media narcissism and internet conspiracies Gina Corano went from negotiating the lead of a potential Star Wars Spin off show, to being “Secret Service Agent who has her hair sniffed by Joe Biden.”
wtf was that speech last night. He was ranting about good v evil and he looked like satan himself with that weird backdrop.
I didn't watch, but I was listening while working, and the speech was... fine. I got the gist of it. He was appealing to rational Republicans and all Democrats to reject the "semi-fascist" MAGA folk.
It wasn't an incredible speech, which is what we really needed. It once again shows that Biden is semi-adequate for the job he's tasked with.
The weird optics are probably Dark Brandon. Fascists are p. mad that they coopted that one from them.
And it's about damned time he stopped talking about appeasement. Hell, the part that bothered me about his speech was where he said there was no place for political violence. But at least he called out evil for what it is.
I'd have liked something a bit more than that, but there are a lot of things I'd like. This was good enough for now.
