If some people find the behavior of some of the posters sufficiently discouraging, they probably shouldn't be hanging out here. Hanging out here and complaining about how discouraging certain behavior is, is a bit like someone going to a comedy club and then complaining, loudly, after every joke, "That's not funny. I bet it didn't even happen."

It depends on whose side you're on I reckon. If the purpose of is the promotion of free expression, then discouragement of free expression is an attack on , whereas discouragment of discouraging attacks on free expression is a defence of .
