Getting a new cellphone

So FUCK VERIZON WIRELESS and all their baby-bird raping and seal clubbing and bills we can't afford anymore. Since Mrs. KA got a tracfone last year she's been bugging me to switch over, so after learning I could definitely keep my old number I finally ditched the Android HTC 6200 (no keyboard pos never really liked it) and got an LG 420 tracfone.



So far it's been as much asspain as should be expected. Worked fine at first, then it wouldn't load new minutes. First I tried to log on to their forums, but that was just stupid, so I called the 1-800 # they sent in their welcome aboard email (which strangely, doesn't appear anywhere online).

I spent the next two hours with a guy from India punching in a bajillion codes -- we finally got it to work most of the time, and he sent me a new sim card for it. I just haven't yet felt like investing another two hours on the phone setting up the new sim card.

But otherwise it's a really great phone.
