There is an article on Yahoo about how astronomers have discovered a baby star system being born.
Within the Milky Way galaxy there are many nebula and dust clouds that are 'nurseries' for stars being born. This is being studied and has been for several years. Most stars have some kind of planetary system. I believe the 'Great Nebula' in Orian is the birth place of many stars.
According to [Der Spiegel,] Church is currently developing technology in his lab that can be used to make human cells similar to those of Neandertals. Eventually, an “adventurous female human” needs to be found as a surrogate mother for the first Neandertal baby, Church is cited as saying, and, from many individuals, “a kind of Neandertal culture” could arise that could gain “political significance.”

no first generation star would have any oxygen in the dust cloud surrounding it.
Besides, any star where we can see this kind of detail is going to be a second+ generation star. First generation (or population III) stars are so massive, and therefore short-lived, that they died long ago.
First generation stars would have been born our of a cloud of molecular Hydrogen and small amounts of Helium, which could be refered to as a dust cloud, or do you have a specific definition of dust that you would like to share? I would think that small particles of frozen Hydrogen would qualify as dust.
Astronomers define "dust" as fine, irregularly-shaped particles of carbon and carbon compounds and/or silicates (usually less than a micron in diameter) in interstellar space. So first-generation stars wouldn't be expected to have any dust associated with them.

The difference is rather important; dust particles and molecules of heavier elements are particularly effective at cooling the gas, thereby making the collapse into a protostar that much easier. Hydrogen and helium cannot cool as effectively by themselves, meaning that you need a really massive amount of gas for the self gravity to overcome the internal pressure. Hence the high mass of the first-generation stars.

I just put that in the Miscellany thread. Isn't that fascinating? The dolphin and human communicated effectively and solved a problem together without a shared language.
Of course it's always easy to over-interpret dolphin actions in human terms. But there are very few creatures - and no domesticated ones I know of - that would behave in that fashion. They're amazing creatures. It's sad we're driving them to extinction in many parts of the world.

I should have put it here rather than Miscellany, this is more appropriate.
Obviously there is a problem of anthropomorphizing in interpreting the behavior of another being..but we can't really imagine what an alien's thought processes might be like so have to sort of go with what we know. But clearly the dolphin was cooperating in this case.
I am lucky enough to live where there is a very stable, and in many ways protected, population of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. I have seen them show off for audiences, race our boat, and come out of the water to a person in our boat to see if we had some mullet for it.

To me that just screams curiosity. They've clearly never seen anything close to a cat before! And that cat doesn't look like it's familiar with dolphins!
The cat looks in a weird confusion of trying to catch the giant fish, and scent mark the strange new friend. What a great video!

It's an awesome video. The small size and age of the park makes me think the cats (there are dozens and dozens of ferals fed and vet-cared for there) and the resident dolphins probably know of each other.
I just finished listening to Hazel Barton talk about cave microbiology. The most interesting point:

According to Sergei Bulat, a researcher at the Laboratory of Eukaryote Genetics at the St. Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, the species of bacteria found in the probes of water from Lake Vostok do not belong to any of the 40+ known subkingdoms of bacteria.
