Ari, I already explained it. Your game is to continue asking questions already answered to fill the thread with shit, like what you have in your head.

Re: Drive by science
lol, here is an example of one of their "blind detection" hoaxes: http://www.ligo.org/scientists/GW100916/index.php
http://www.ligo.org/news/blind-injection.php
Quote:
"Blind Injection" Stress-Tests LIGO and VIRGO's Search for Gravitational Waves
The LIGO Scientific Collaboration and the Virgo Collaboration completed an end-to-end system test of their detection capabilities at their recent joint collaboration meeting in Arcadia, CA. Analysis of data from LIGO and Virgo's most recent observation run revealed evidence of the elusive signal from a neutron star spiraling into a black hole. The collaboration knew that the "detection" could be a "blind injection" -- a fake signal added to the data without telling the analysts, to test the detector and analysis. Nonetheless, the collaboration proceeded under the assumption that the signal was real, and wrote and approved a scientific paper reporting the ground-breaking discovery. A few moments later, according to plan, it was revealed that the signal was indeed a blind injection.
While the scientists were disappointed that the discovery was not real, the success of the analysis was a compelling demonstration of the collaboration's readiness to detect gravitational waves. LIGO and Virgo scientists are looking forward to observations with the advanced detectors which are expected to contain many real signals from the distant reaches of the universe.

Just as easily the current claim of a real finding could be a "blind detection" and no one would be the wiser.
They are in your face mocking your religious faith in them.

Re: Drive by science
The Treaty specifies what can be done. They are allowed to send science explorers, and that is all.
Its very clear. There is no provision for any commercial operations, the treaty does not allow it.
Learn to read law.

Not providing a provision, does not prevent it, only when it became economically possible to extract minerals from frozen ground, beneith snow and ice did it become necessary to exclude it.

The sun travels above and around the circular plane. Just as any light source has its power defused over distance, so does the sun.
If we lived on a spinning globe with the sun 93 million miles away, we should never see an apparent size change when the sun moves away from our location (sunset), yet when we have dry clear atmospheric weather conditions, the sun clearly is observed to shrink in size as it moves away.

Jerome may be surprised to learn that airplanes move both upward and downward! Whenever the plane is not cruising at altitude, it is not, in fact, being pulled down "at the exact rate of the Earth's curvature" which is why it is either gaining or losing altitude.

When I spin this ball on a string around my head it manages to keep the exact same distance from my hand the whole time you can't explain that!

Re: Drive by science
Magic gravity can counter the force of water spinning away from the sphere at 1,000 mph, yet can't stop a bee from flying.
Fucking lol @ the observational evidence one has to dismiss to beleive the spinning sphere theory.
You literally have to deny the reality you experience, just like the videos posted early said at their start.

So you are claiming planes do have to fly downwards to maintain altitude.
That other guy said gravity keeps the altitude consistent with the curvature.
Funny how you guys can't get the story straight...

I don't think we are either of us pilots or aeronautical engineers. But the airplane is pulled to the center of the Earth much like Ari's ball on a string is pulled to his hand.
Spinning a wet ball is not a legitimate model of the Earth's oceans.

What? A wet ball spinning at a few thousand RPM is a perfect model of the earth in all ways.

Sure it is.
The ball will just need to be around 13k kilometers in diameter, and have a mass of a few sextillion tons, and be spinning around at a rate of about one rotation for every 24 hours and...

You might want to take that up with your fellow flat earthers, who say:

The sun remains the same size as it recedes into the distance due to a known magnification effect caused by the intense rays of light passing through the strata of the atmolayer.

Re: Drive by science
You can't be saying that gravity has the same effect on the air surrounding the plane as it does on the plane itself.
The gravity equation doesn't allow for such a consideration.
