Wow, this looks like a skull-probe from Warhammer 40k... That's awesome on so many levels.

Re: The Skull Thread
Not much on this computer...only two measley skull pictures.
Still, quality skulls, my friends. Parasauropholus and human skulls.
Sometimes I think we should have a large sinus cavity sticking out the top of our heads--and I could sell my old snorkeling gear on eBay.
Of course, if we ALL had a huge nasal crest on the top of our heads, no one would NEED my old snorkeling gear now would they...
Damn it!!

It's actually Parasaurolophus, not Parasauropholus.
The nostrils of Parasaurolophus were at the front, just like any other dinosaur's. So even though the nasal cavities extended into the impressive head crest, the crest couldn't have been used as a snorkel. It was probably used as a resonating chamber to amplify the animal's calls.
Most of the lambeosaurs had some pretty impressive headgear, but for a dinosaur with a truly bizaare skull, you can't beat Oviraptor, in my opinion.
Cheers,
Michael

Edit: Fear my evil etsy.com search results for sugar skull. You may want to hide your wallets and paypal accounts from this one.
