Oh yeah, we have that 20-types-of-weather-an-hour climate too.
It stopped snowing here, there's lots of it on the ground (except in the major roads), but it's been thawing all day. But tonight, tomorrow and the weekend is supposedly going to remain below zero. So most of it will stick around for some time I guess.

The forecast keeps changing. It went from 'chance of snow' tomorrow night to 3-6" tomorrow, with a total of 10-20" through Saturday night.

The blizzard was short-lived and the snow has "evaporated". Now it's just cold and any liquid water outdoors has turnd to ice - so 'not a drop to drink' for the birds.
The sky is bright so I'm hoping for a thaw or I'll be carrying buckets of water after I've done that with their food. The normal hose-pipes are solid with ice

Looks like close to 2' of snow on the ground. I'll probably clear a path to the back building so I can get to the cat food dish and so the kittehs can eat easier. Way wait till tomorrow on the driveway as the winds are supposed to really pick up.

Much the same here but I'm confused 
Most of the birds' water is in vessels made from sawn-off tub and barrel ends. They're all in direct Sun but some have melted a little and some haven't. One enterprising duck has found a water-but with enough liquid water in it to take a splashy bath!
I'll have a little  then go round with a hammer to break the surface ice.

We got like an inch of snow last night and a bunch of freezing rain, now it is just cold as hell and rainy. Good day to stay home and nap.

I ended up shoveling the entire driveway except for a small strip between the sidewalk and the street. Snowplows are still running (although the snow isn't falling much now) and they'd just fill it up again.

I was about to go "Humongous, o rly?" at Watser and post a pic of my own car to make him contrite, but realized that, like in many other woefully unprepared areas of the world, he and the local drivers are probably not equipped with adequate clothing, winter tires, spades or enough snowploughs, so it likely actually is a problem.

Hey, Lisarea, in our news today they had clips of Americans stranded in snow. I almost lolled, but am trying to teach my kids to be compassionate about the less fortunate.

There is a fucking asshload of snow outside. I am a tad annoyed with it. The last thing I need is to bust my ass on an ice patch when the melted snow eventually refreezes into ice.
