Re: The Sopranos
Maybe you guys are right, because you'd think the goons would spread the word rather quickly, but all is quiet about Vito.

Re: The Sopranos
Vito would have to had moved very quickly to get those two guys before they could spread the word. He at least changed his outfit and went home to get the gun. Maybe he got them before he checked into the motel, but if he didn't then there's even more time spent. Also, why check into a motel if all he had to was hunt the goons down.
The goons were going around making collections, so if Vito knew their route, he'd be able to ambush them.

Me too. Village Vito is way more appealing than greedy schemer Vito. Here's a cute story about the actor who plays him. Checkered past, to say the least.

Re: The Sopranos
The previews make it look like he's missing. Maybe Vito is setting up some sort of gay kidnapping scenario story for himself.

Re: The Sopranos
The last guy I remember who went missing and couldn't be found was Big Pussy. Sure, he eventually resurfaced, but as a rat.
I wonder if Vito knows the phone number of the local FBI office.

I feel pretty bad about finding this stuff funny, just for the record, but Paulie Walnuts was fucking hilarious.

Re: The Sopranos
I know. We laugh at Paulie even when he's being bad. There's just something about Mr. Incorrigible.

We laugh at him too, except when he was beating the Barone kid on the dock with the baseball bat.

Re: The Sopranos
Apparently, A&E has bought The Sopranos (2.5 million per episode; there will be 85 episodes at the end of this season) and are currently in the process of editing it for basic cable. Sounds like a Sisyphean impossibility to me, but oh well...

Re: The Sopranos
MAD TV had a good skit about the Sopranos edited for basic cable. They said something like "every Friday night from 9 o'clock to 9:03".

I saw that a couple weeks ago....
I think editing this for basic cable is stupid, but we shall see. What's next? Editing "Deadwood" for basic cable? What will they do with all the cocksuckers?

Re: The Sopranos
Was this supposed to be the season finale, originally the series finale? Because, lame.
Woops. Scenes from the next answered that question. There's another episode 2 weeks from now.

Re: The Sopranos
Yanno, poor Vito and yet ... fuck Vito. He had to know this would be his outcome. And I remember how he tried to undermine Tony while he was in the hospital.
And now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to dream about Paris.

Yeah, I felt sorry for Vito when he was happy in New Hampshire, but once he went back and shot that poor dude he crashed into and everything...

Re: The Sopranos
Vito was a bad, bad guy, but it was hard to remember that when he was in love with his fireman.
I loved Carmella in Paris. The scene where she & Ro were at those ruins and she was talking about all the people who'd lived there over hundreds and hundreds of years, and when she said, "we worry and worry, but in the end it all washes away".... I know exactly how she feels.
