I have an unhealthy fascination with crap. If Mrs. Reasons would allow it, I'd cover the house in low brow art and terrible humor. This thread is dedicated to an alternate universe where I have indulged in every bit of cultural dietrius that appeals to me.

The first thing, god how I love the Onion's political cartoon by "Stan Kelly." It's anti-humor at its best. I already have a "SICKOS" and a "Crying Liberty" shirt:

A recurring series are the movies featuring Virginia Madsen, and she wound up doing a lot of really terrible stuff, like today's movie "Lying in Wait" (2001). I almost can't wait to watch this.

I love "Garfield Minus Garfield." I got the book, even though the actual creator only got an advance, and Jim Davis got the rest. Perhaps that's why they only update irregularly at best. I was going through my RSS feeds (using Feedly) and was blessed with a new one.

I sent a friend a package the other day - I had some earbuds that didn't work and he has the same earbuds, but a broken case. Since it was also his birthday, I sent him a card.

Been a fan of Wondermark for quite a long time. I rather enjoy Malki !'s aesthetic. I even bought a roll-a-sketch from him one Emerald City Comic Con. He hasn't updated the actual comic in almost 2 years - I think all of his creative energy has been going into other projects.

Our second newest kitten Calrissian is a large, mostly white fluffy cat. She also has a slightly Persian face which is black and ends at roughly her eyebrows. It makes her look angry all the time, even when it's clear she's a perfectly happy kitty.

She only tolerates most attention, but for whatever reason, she will settle in and let me hold her in a "villain cat" hold for as long as I'm willing. The "resting angry face" really sells the villain cat look.

This has inspired my costume for this year: Ernst Stavro Blofeld. I'm specifically fond of the Donald Pleasence version — minus the bald head/bald cap, Mrs. Reasons is *not* into that.

Mrs. Reason is hosting a party at our house for her office next weekend, so I'm limited on time to put this together, therefore I'm not doing it exactly right - I ordered a 5 button brown jacket with a Mandarin collar which is technically incorrect, but it's what was available, and honestly anyone who would understand will get it anyway. I'm not worrying about pants and shoes. I'll just use a pair of tan/brown dress slacks that don't clash with the jacket, and brown shoes. I might give myself a scar for the party. I did order a stuffed white cat so poor Calrissian doesn't have to be my prop all day.
