TIL the International Boxing Association was stripped of Olympic association a few years back due to a bunch of corruption allegations, then appointed a new president ostensibly to clean up but who tied the org to Putin's rule over Russia and banned the Ukrainian team, leading to a bunch of countries boycotting the IBA's 2023 tournament and forming a rival org called World Boxing.
During the 2023 tournament this corrupt Putin supporting org suddenly disqualified Khelif on the basis of an undisclosed test right after she beat a Russian boxer in the semi-final.
