That was an actual just plain error. Read a thing as being in the middle box in a row, and from that filled it in in the bottom row of the right box in that row, but actually it was in the right box and thus it was an error.

Went great after that though.

I've added the link to the puzzle you just solved, up at the top of the results. I did the link as plain text, because if I'd used an anchor tag, or similar, then most forum software won't allow you to include it in a post: even at :ff:

you need to be a member of the html group to do that.

I thought about using the: {URL="http://sudoffle.ceptimus.co.uk/Sudoffle.php?p=666"}Sudoffle #666{/URL} format, which would work here for all members (and at most forums) but it would look weird in the results pop-up box, and wouldn't work on other social media platforms.

Of course, it's possible to make the pop-up results box have different contents displayed, compared to the contents copied to the clipboard, but I've not done that, for now...

Plain text is fine, I think. It gets replaced with the page title here at and all good sites.

One useful cosmetic tweak would be to change the page title to e.g. Sudoffle #666 when the p= parameter is given.

I've done that (changed the title when the p={puzzle number} parameter is given - except when the puzzle number is the default (today's) puzzle number, in which case the title is still the vanilla Sudoffle). Testing to see what happens when results are posted...
