July is when Musk limited twitter to registered users, this seems to suggest that 2/3rds of their impressions came from unregistered twitter users. While bad for them, it does mean Musk has to pay 2/3rds less in internet bills, so it’s really a win for free speech and humanity in general.
King of the Incels strikes again! Then 47 year old Musk pulled a “I bet you’re not a real nerd girl unless you pass my test!” On his second date with Grimes. The thing that’s sad is not just that he’s a loser, but that he’s a textbook loser.
My hope here is that Grimes learned from this and is able as an entertainer to communicate this to her fan base and perhaps save a few others from stumbling down the abusive relationship rabbit hole.

The district court issued a search warrant in a criminal case, directing appellant Twitter, Inc. ("Twitter") to produce information to the government related to the Twitter account "@realDonaldTrump." The search warrant was served along with a nondisclosure order that prohibited Twitter from notifying anyone about the existence or contents of the warrant. Twitter initially delayed production of the materials required by the search warrant while it unsuccessfully litigated objections to the nondisclosure order. Although Twitter ultimately complied with the warrant, the company did not fully produce the requested information until three days after a court-ordered deadline. The district court thus held Twitter in contempt and imposed a $350,000 sanction for its delay.
. . .
The district court properly rejected Twitter' s First Amendment challenge to the nondisclosure order. Moreover, the district court acted within the bounds of its discretion to manage its docket when it declined to stay its enforcement of the warrant while the First Amendment claim was litigated. Finally, the district court followed the appropriate procedures before finding Twitter in contempt of court - including giving Twitter an opportunity to be heard and a chance to purge its contempt to avoid sanctions. Under the circumstances, the court did not abuse its discretion when it ultimately held Twitter in contempt and imposed a $350,000 sanction.

It doesn't matter that these projects are unsustainable in the long term. It doesn't even matter if they're never fully realized. Men with power crave to make their mark on time.
Elon’s midlife crisis. Trump’s end of life crisis. Thiel and his young blood sucking thing. Jared Kushner and his Imma b immortal.
I’ve even seen this recently in a city mayor saddling the city for decades of extra bills rejiggering the police force.

Of course the fight was never going to happen, Musk’s insecure ego would never allow him to put himself into a position where he can’t spin it as a win. Anytime the words “someone besides you will decide if you win.” he’s out, he’s gone.

The only tenable explanation of Melon Husk's behaviour is that he's got a massive incentive - money or blackmail - to destroy Twitter completely.
Billionaire midlife crisis. He already shot a sports car into space, so it's not like he can stop with a sports car. He's instead trying to relive his startup days and UnFail his X.com misfire and relive his youth. He's a guy who remembers every slight or flub. He takes a shot at people on Twitter who made fun of him, blocks them, then unblocks them years later to take another shot at the same three year old tweet, and blocks them again.

Several users noticed the glitch, with the technologist Tom Coates among those pointing it out. Coates referred to the glitch as “epic vandalism by Musk” and suggested it could be a cost-saving exercise.

Why does that remind me of someone who used to be a Prince, and then was, again, before he was gone.
