He just blocked Lou Paskalis. And reportedly ranked developers by number of lines of code written, and sacked a percentage of the bottom. Godspeed to all the engineers who handled the most challenging problems. I'm sure you'll find work with a competitor.

Steve Jobs didn’t build computers or write software, he was smart enough to hire competent people and add his design and business skills to their work, not go it alone like some lone hero.
You would totally buy a computer built by Steve Jobs and marketed by Steve Wozniak though.

It’s like wanting a car literally built by Henry Ford, from things he found laying around the shop. Elon Musk never built a social network of any sort. Let’s put him in charge to make all the decisions himself!
Henry Ford would have hired some bean counters to test subscription based ideas and fees.
Elon Musk gets in fights with authors over a price hike, loses, drastically changes the price, gets huffy, threatens advertisers like a jilted lover. All in public. Genius!
At this point I think he’s going for the Liz Truss Award.
