Default Supersun

In about 7 hours, at 05:34 (GMT) 3 January 2018, the sun will be closer to the earth than at any other point during the year.

3 million miles :drevil: closer than in July!

This means it's a supersun, a percent or so larger than normal.*

No wonder it's so warm. I mean cold.

This would coincide with the solstice, but there's a lag effect. I mean but it's totally unrelated.

Perihelion, Aphelion and the Solstices

* Do not look at the sun with the naked eye unless you are a libertarian and can handle it.
