Re: Drive by science
Fun with words, a zoom lens is one that has varied focal lengths (ex.28-105mm), it's opposite is the Prime whose focal length is fixed. It's often confused with a long focus lens which magnifies distant things which is itself confused with 'telephoto' lens which is a type of long focus lens design.

Simply an untrue assertion. Planes disappear do to perspective. The same way a long hallway looks like the ceiling, walls, and floor converge at your eye level in the far distance.
Gyroscopes keep their plane, they are not claimed to be effected by your fake gravity, so an airliner traveling 3,000 miles would not be able to rely on a gyroscope because the curve of the earth relative to the gyroscope would be all out of wack.
|
No, Jerome : we track planes by satellite all the time. Geosynchronous satellites lose the planes as they go around the curve. That has absolutely nothing to do with perspective.
Apart from the fact we photograph the earth from space with those satellites, but hey! Why dwell on the stupendously obvious.
And you are wrong about gyroscopes - they are indeed affected by gravity. One of the most famous experiments demonstrating the rotation of the earth used a gyroscope.
This is a simple case of you not understanding primary school physics. You seem to be having a tide goes in, tide goes out moment.

Baahaaa!!
Did you know that the three head guys inserted fake data into the system and the entire team thought they found gravity waves?
The hoax was only exposed when the three heads guys admitted that it was just a test to see how the scientists reacted to the data.
Iow, that is just another hoax not admitted too.

Well, that is easy. On the bottom of the ocean. So a plane was not tracked all the time once, hence we never track planes? You are really turning up the stupid now aren't you?

Nope, NASA claims they collect data from satellites, then they have artists interpret that data to create earth pictures in Photoshop.
There is only like one picture of the earth claimed by NASA to be a real photograph, and that is from Apollo in the 70's.

The magic gravity can do anything!
It 'pulls' planes down at the exact rate of the earth's curvature!!

I looked it up on you tube and most of the video's were by Flat-Earther's trying to prove that the Earth is flat, and presenting false data to do so.

That's the answer, anything that disagrees with your own pet theory is "fake data", and part of a hoax. It looks like we have another Peacegirl here, I wonder how long this will last.

The rate of the curvature has nothing to do with it, Jerome. It pulls planes down towards the center of the earth at a constant rate... really quite simple.
When we track planes from geosynchronous orbit, they do indeed dip down... relative to a geosynchronous point at a fixed altitude. They disappear around the curve of the earth.
But hey - why are we bothering with this? Let's have some serious "observational science" up in this bitch! Revolutionize our understanding of the world, and go and fly a plane into space without climbing more than a few hundred feet! You can make it easier on yourself by starting somewhere near the edge. Where is the edge of the world, Jerome?

There used to be a lot of illustrations of ships sailing off the edge of the Earth and falling, but if there is no gravity, why do they fall and what do they fall into? Now with airplanes they could just fly over the edge without falling because they are flying in the air that just continues beyond the edge. Where is the video of airplanes flying over the edge of the Earth?

No, read it again.
The three head guys did insert fake data and the entire scientific team could not tell it was fake.
They fully admit to doing this, just months before they found the 'real' gravity waves. lol
They are in your face telling you its bullshit because they know people like you have been so religiously indoctrinated that you will believe anything the Priests tell you.

Re: Drive by science
We don't know where the edge is, there is speculation Admiral Byrd found it, because right after his final expedition south the governments of the world signed an agreement to not really go there any more, despite this being right after WWII and having all the mineral resources down there Byrd claims he found.
There was no environmental movement at this time, these were countries rebuilding after the war, why would they all agree to not exploit the resources forever? It makes no sense unless there is something they don't want private corporations to find.

Interesting, so why then is this gravity not pulling down the atmosphere in the same way?

Re: Drive by science
They are not even claiming to have taken a picture, they are claiming to have collected data, then converted that data into a image.
See how easily it is to trick you, they openly admit its not a picture, yet you believe it is anyways!!

For your reference, what data they are claiming the satellite collects from which they use an artist to create the image you presented.

The restrictions on exploiting mineral resources didn't go into effect till 1998. That did not happen right after the war, once again you have your information wrong.
Explorers have flown over the south pole, and there is no edge.

The treaty was signed in 1959, but don't let facts get in the way of your religious belief system!
No, there have been claims of flying to the south pole and back, not from one end, over the pole, to the other end. Regardless, it would just be an unprovable claim, certainly no one does it today.
