They're well. Sent them off with my parents for a week so they didn't miss the family holiday gatherings, so they just got to meet the little guy yesterday, and daughter still hasn't had a chance to get very close to him as she currently has strep throat. But they are smitten.

Congratulations Ro!
When my mother brought me home from the hospital my almost 3 year old sister insisted that my mother undress me completely. She looked me over carefully, made no comment, and then lost all interest in the new baby.

Thanks! My older kids are 14 & 11, so they've had kind of mixed feelings during the pregnancy--mostly revolving around impending diaper changes.  They like him now that he's here.
Condolences also. Babby is actually named after PV's dad, who we lost to cancer in 2007.
