Question A Pressing Matter of Smiley Orientation

This has bothered me for some time and now I'm finally doing something about it. The pressing question is as follows:

Should :unrun: run in the other direction?

Think particularly at the end of a sentence. I feel like he should run away from the sentence, not towards it.

I wanted to pick Poland but he's not running upside down when he runs across the top, and he should be. I cannot in good conscience endorse such a half-finished Poland smiley.

He has to start right side up, and he has to start all over again at the end because that's how smilies work!!1

But! His current orientation has him running to the left, so the bottom right corner of Poland is his starting point. Thus, he should be upside down when he runs across the top. The prosecution rests.

Objection! Prosecution wouldn't know the first frame of a smiley from a hole in the ground. EXHIBIT EVERYTHING:

I vigorously disagree. The magic of :unrun: is that he's purposely running the wrong direction. Namely, towards the stupid, because he is ineffectual.

Also.

I'm not supercrazy about dupes, even if they are mirror images. I'll consider it.

If we are going to scrutinize all of the little guy's self esteem away, I would also like to point out that the static lighting in the Poland version is just plain illogical.

I suppose you already know that with Internet Explorer, you can use CSS filters to mirror smilies? Sadly this doesn't work in FireFox and other browsers. :not: I shall demonstrate below, but you'll have to fire up Internet Explorer to see it working.

Is this a joke I'm not in on?

I use Firefox and saw all the images. On the off-chance that I might be missing something, I pulled up IE. Saw the same thing.

Hmm. But now that I've quoted you, I don't think I can reproduce the images. But I can see them.

It's not that you can't see the images, it's that the smilies are facing the wrong direction. In IE the 2nd one is facing another direction (though moving in the same direction as in Firefox).
