A Pressing Matter of Smiley Orientation
This has bothered me for some time and now I'm finally doing something about it. The pressing question is as follows:
Should
run in the other direction?
Think particularly at the end of a sentence. I feel like he should run away from the sentence, not towards it.

Re: A Pressing Matter of Smiley Orientation
I wanted to pick Poland but he's not running upside down when he runs across the top, and he should be. I cannot in good conscience endorse such a half-finished Poland smiley.

Re: A Pressing Matter of Smiley Orientation
He has to start right side up, and he has to start all over again at the end because that's how smilies work!!1

Re: A Pressing Matter of Smiley Orientation
But! His current orientation has him running to the left, so the bottom right corner of Poland is his starting point. Thus, he should be upside down when he runs across the top. The prosecution rests.

Objection! Prosecution wouldn't know the first frame of a smiley from a hole in the ground. EXHIBIT EVERYTHING:

There should be an ALL OF THE ABOVE option, but Poland. Definitely.

I vigorously disagree. The magic of
is that he's purposely running the wrong direction. Namely,
towards the stupid, because he is ineffectual.
Also.

And a marvelous job you did, too.
You may change my vote to Poland, if you see fit.

But then we can have them running at eachother in a dual or away from eachother in disdain.

Re: A Pressing Matter of Smiley Orientation
If we are going to scrutinize all of the little guy's self esteem away, I would also like to point out that the static lighting in the Poland version is just plain illogical.

Re: A Pressing Matter of Smiley Orientation
I suppose you already know that with Internet Explorer, you can use CSS filters to mirror smilies? Sadly this doesn't work in FireFox and other browsers.
I shall demonstrate below, but you'll have to fire up Internet Explorer to see it working.

It doesn't matter how they are oriented, we should respect their lifestyle choices.

That and that and that. Leave him alone! Calling rtl running "backward" is just your western lesbian ethnocentricism coming through as usual anyway. The best user of him is BroMan who uses it all like "brb!" like he's going to run back home and get something like an amazing fucking pibble shoop and it's perfect.
