Default Fennel?

Is roasted fennel any good? I don't really care for the raw stuff, but maybe it tastes better roasted?

I think I've had roasted fennel though not recently, and it's good ... but still in a fennely kind of way.

I'm surprised Pea hasn't posted that she cans 14 bushels of it every year.

Default Re: Fennel?

For some reason, I've never really cooked with fennel, although I do like it.

I have had it roasted and liked that, but like I said, I like it already, so my opinion is low-value for these purposes.

But now I want to go get me some fennel to experiment with. After I'm done putting up these apples and beets.
