I know rite!?
While in theory I like the kill him with kindness approach, that people who support social medicine are kind was never in question.
The headline's for this should read "white male douche who whines till someone cleans up his mess is taught a lesson by having people clean up his mess after listening to him whine."
The problem is they are using adult logic here which includes things such as empathy and self reflection when they should be using child logic which is if I'm an asshole and still get my way, why change?
Liberal love dog training camp, my dog keeps peeing on the floor so I showed him where the towels were and then let him outside to play while I cleaned it up, I'm sure he wont do it again.
I'm sure you've heard about the Republican senators, led by Tom Cotton, who misguidedly attempted to undermine talks with Iran. They demonstrated their complete lack of understanding of the U.S. Constitution and may have violated the Logan Act. Iran's response was a thorough smackdown, as it demonstrated that they understand the Constitution and international law better than the Republican Party does. The Republicans would be embarrassed by this if they were capable of feeling embarrassment.
However, that's not why I'm posting this. Borowitz is why I'm posting this.

At this point, it looks like we need a new stupidity scale, sort of like how Kelvin makes extreme temperatures easier to write. Between Ted Cruz speeches and Kanye West lyrics, I thought we'd plumbed the depths, and now the bottom has dropped out again.

An assault is an unlawful attempt, coupled with a present ability, to commit a violent injury on the person of another.
. . .
A battery is any willful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another.
Cal. Penal Code §§ 240, 242.
Someone within Holy Mother Church might be in trouble here. lol No, not really. Fortunately, free exercise of religion is enshrined in the federal Constitution, so nothing a religious organization does can ever qualify as "unlawful." Hooray for America.

The Archdiocese issued a new statement Wednesday morning about the story, saying the church will address the situation at the Cathedral immediately and will have further comment later in the day.
Further comment: "We believe in the dignity and sexuality of all little boys. Please send us as many little boys as possible so that we can help them achieve their dignity and sexuality."
I'd say she's today's worst person in the world, but some of those other people are pretty terrible too.

With a growing homeless problem and a growing drought problem the SF Catholic Archdiocese
The Archdiocese has responded with 'oh you finally caught us? Yeah that's why we didn't file any of the permits, and oops that's illegal?' Even though it's been installed for 2 years it being removed this day has in no way to do with the discovery of how we treat people.
This sprinkler system in alcoves near our back doorways was installed approximately two years ago, after learning from city resources that this kind of system was being commonly used in the Financial District to drive away filthy homeless people, the very people we claim to love.
We are sorry that our intentions have been understood only too well, and recognize that the method used was ill-conceived because it makes us look like the shits that we are. It actually has had the opposite effect from what it was intended to do -- drive away homeless people without we ourselves being noticed doing this -- and for this we are very sorry for ourselves.
We have also now learned that the system in the first place required a permit and may violate San Francisco water-use laws, and the work to remove this system has already started, and will be completed by the end of the day. In a like matter, we have recently learned that raping children is against the law, and the work to more efficiently cover up our serial sexual misconduct has already started, and will be completed by the end of the day.
I too would like to complain about that. That thing they're doing? That thing where they're straight up fucking lying, and everyone knows it, but they expect people to maintain their polite fiction? That social artifice is for relatively benign faux pas and minor humiliations nobody wants to endure. It's not for intentional malice.
I can understand the shower part, since some homeless people stink. But usually there's soup and a cot involved afterwards, isn't there?
Oh well, at least they're just condescending prickholes to the homeless getting their laughs driving them off the steps with water. If they were Jehovah's Witnesses, they'd potentially corner the poor homeless people and never STFU.

Seriously, though, it's now A-OK to exercise our Second Amendment remedies against the Catholic heirarchy, right? Decapitating an archbishop with an 8-gauge riot gun is plain and simple self-defense and/or defense of others at this point. Can we not stand our ground?

Host John Gambling sought Giuliani’s take on the vicious McDonald’s fight; the recent police shootings in Ferguson, Mo., and NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton getting booed Thursday at a City Council hearing by protesters.
Giuliani said, “It all starts at the top. It’s the tone that’s set by the President.”
The former mayor said he just returned from a trip overseas, and the United States is constantly derided there as a “racist state.”
“It is the obligation of the President to explain . . . that our police are the best in the world,” said Giuliani.
Obama is also not addressing the “enormous amount of crime” that’s being committed by African-Americans, Giuliani said.
“I hate to mention it because of what happened afterwards, but (he should be saying) the kinds of stuff Bill Cosby used to say,” said Giuliani.
Cosby, before his public image was tarnished by a slew of sex assault allegations, had spoken frequently and often bluntly about how African-Americans needed to focus more on education, be better parents and avoid lives of crime. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.2146983

It's okay as long as your religious beliefs call for you to do so.
