Well, the snow didn't stick in Hooston, but as I got closer to home, the ground and rooftops got whiter and whiter. When I got to our community, it was blanketed.
The covering was only a couple inches, but it was enough to make a little snowman with the Li'l Puppet. She was so excited when she got home from school, I thought she was going to explode. Of course, as soon as we were done with the snowman she wanted to go inside -- the snow was still falling and it was cold as hell. But that was quite a rush.
The snow stayed on the ground for a full 24 hours or more, and the visiting snowmen lasted longer than that. Ours finally melted away by yesterday morning.
Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 70
F. There's some weirdassed fucking weather for ya.
