Well, the snow didn't stick in Hooston, but as I got closer to home, the ground and rooftops got whiter and whiter. When I got to our community, it was blanketed. :faint:

The covering was only a couple inches, but it was enough to make a little snowman with the Li'l Puppet. She was so excited when she got home from school, I thought she was going to explode. Of course, as soon as we were done with the snowman she wanted to go inside -- the snow was still falling and it was cold as hell. But that was quite a rush.

The snow stayed on the ground for a full 24 hours or more, and the visiting snowmen lasted longer than that. Ours finally melted away by yesterday morning.

Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 70:degrees: F. There's some weirdassed fucking weather for ya.

It's raining! It's raining! It's awesome. We needed it so bad. Well, except for the people whose houses are gonna slide down the hillside because everything was set on fire earlier this year. Sucks to be them, but I for one am really liking the rain.

It's been a wet day and there's water lying everywhere. Fields are ponds and ditches are streams.

It's stopped now and I can see some planet or other in the evening sky South of here.

It's warm - I've just been out without a jacket and come in hot from climbing trees.

The good news is it is all that dry arctic air so I didn't have to defrost the car and the roads weren't slippery.

When I arose this morning, it was -10ºC (about 18ºF). By the time I left for work, I had much the same situation as Crumb...pushing up closer to freezing. But, from my understanding, it never warmed up to above freezing all day. It ain't Alberta weather, but that's cold for us.
