It's been snowing here all day, but just lightly. Maybe an inch or two accumulation so far, and temperatures in the teens and twenties.
Which is pretty much perfect weather for spending the day making and eating food.

64F today, but I doubt we'll be seeing any more like this this year. Roses are still blooming. A few days ago there was a dandelion by the sidewalk.

It's pretty cold here now. -1  C tonight. I was just at my brother's and him and his wife have befriended two young refugees fron Syria who live in a camp just outside of town. One of them had a cold and the other one just got better. So they were giving them vitamins and stuff to get well. It's supposed to go up next week though.
My brother and SIL are leaving tomorrow for the Maldives, then Indonesia, Myanmar, Shanghai, the US and then Iceland  So they'll be gone all winter.

Over 50,000 Oklahoma Gas & Electric (my electricity provider) customers are without electrical power this morning, mostly in the Oklahoma City area. Their website is down, overloaded. They've stopped giving time estimates because their repair crews are overwhelmed. Outside crews are enroute.

Guh, it's been unseasonably warm here, too. It got up to like 70 or something yesterday, and it's 55 right now.
Every day, it's like a 20% chance of precipitation and a 90% chance of smug assholes talking about how 'nice' it is.
It's supposed to be cold this time of year. This is messed up.
(It is maybe going to snow this weekend, but we'll see.)

It's ghastly. 65ºF and 95% humidity at 5:00 AM. It was like a steaming jungle in the control room this morning. Thank god for natives with large fans that we keep on retainer.
