I think of hesher more as a generic kind of trashy guy. I think the term comes from those three quarter length sleeved t-shirts. Like usually the main body of the shirt is white or whatever, and the ringer and sleeves are a contrasting color. Of course, I try to look it up and can't find any evidence of that, but I still think it anyway. ha ha!

They also have stringy hair and wear dirty baseball caps, and probably hang out in 7-11 parking lots.

They usually listen to heavy metal, but I could also see them listening to 'classic rock.' Like guys who yell Free Bird all the time for no reason.

Oh, wow. That's totally different from my picture. Mine is a person wearing black jeans and a black heavy metal t-shirt (with some like violent, bloody imagery, probably some album cover art). The hair is dyed black, and leather jewelery could be involved. The girls wore tons of black eyeliner around the eyes. Probably piercings or tattoos on the older ones, but maybe not as prevalent as today because it was the late 80s, and definitely not around my crowd because we were way young.

Our provider's support continues to suck via being in the dark as much as they keep people in the dark. Late-night call while aiming a satellite dish: "We were peaking the dish when suddenly it stopped working. Is something going on with your server?" "Let me check." *hour wait* *cellphone drops twice* "...they say there's 'something funny' going on with the cross pol server." "Funny in what way?" "I don't know." "Any idea when you will know?" "I don't know." "Any idea on how long it'll take to fix?" "I don't know. I can ask." "Please do." *2 hour wait* *cellphone dies*

The next day, they tell us "No, the cross pol server is fine. It's just undergoing maintenance." To which I note "Yeah, we were there last night when it started doing maintenance of its own volition, unscheduled, after hours, with nobody the wiser." He was forced to concede, "They don't tell us much.." No shit sherlock. I'm not sure they'd tell you if the NOC was on fire.

Retard customers who leave messages saying "MY INTERNET HAS BEEN DOWN FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS FIX IT OR I WILL LEAVE YOUR SERVICE" and when you call, the problem has
a) only been happening a month
b) happens with one specific chat site
c) was caused by having to block ports in order to weather his egregious nonstop filesharing abuse

So, the struggle continues ....

Police report was finally filed today, jerk gave false insurance info, so I gotta go through my insurance company. If the officer had freaking given me that info, or done his job in even a minimnal way, I wouldn't have had to wait a WEEK to file the claim, I could have done it THEN.

Now I have a fucking ticket from a cop for my car being visable, because a FUCKING COP made me wait this long. FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK FUCK!

Still fucking pissed that guy got of scot free for the DWI and the hit and run. (BTW the report makes no mention of him so much as stumbling, it reads that he was tired and avoiding a cat, and no mention of his leaving the scene. :angry:

) NOW I know in addition to all that, he's getting off for no insurance coverage as well.

BUT I GET A FUCKING TICKET!!!! NO FUCKING JUSTICE!

The ticket was for "storage" of a car in front of my house. Because obviously, after the fucker turned it into a sandwich, I'm not driving it or anything. Drunk driving hit and run isn't worth a ticket, but storage that's unforgivable, throw the book at me!

Now that I know I will have to deal with it through my insurance company, the adjuster can come and take the thing (that once was my beautiful beemer) away tomorrow. I did talk to the sergent, and he said I shouldn't get any more tickets between now and Monday, (didn't drop the original ticket though.) He was far more understanding, yet doing the typical damage control for the original officer that screwed me.

Oh and now that I have established that the guy didn't have insurance, he gave me some numbers to call so that AT LEAST he will get some kind of charge for driving without financial responsibility. Which in my state is no joke. But still, I am going to have to make the calls to make it happen. I found out the guy's mother lives on my street, in a rental, and he is staying with her. I am almost tempted to try and find the landlord to see if they are in violation of the lease, and get him booted out.
