Well, the State of Colorado had their Primary this week. And in the 4th Congressional District, Boebert the Bimbo took the ReThuglican nomination.

I have yet to examine the turnout numbers, much, but I can say that in our county, she came in third. only a little over 100 dolts voted for her.

And, She only took the district with 43% but when there are five candidates, that seems to be enough.

The bad news, only a bit over 1600 of the 5700 or so people in the county bothered to vote, at all.
In a state of nearly four million registered voters, Less than a million actually voted.
Reports of "Voter Apathy" seem to be substantiated.
And it also seems that the "Sqeaky Wheel Syndrome" is alive and well.

The special election is between a doomed Democrat and Greg Lopez, a failed GOP gubernatorial candidate in 2022. Ol' Greg is best known for corruption as Colorado Director of the Small Business Administration, drunk driving, and beating up his pregnant wife. Greg's defense to the latter incident was that it's all good because the cops took both of them to jail.

And, as expected, drunk driving woman beater Greg Lopez will indeed serve out the rest of Ken Buck's term in the House of Reps, which lasts until the 118th Congress ends in early January 2025.

The mother has custody of the couple’s minor children, and they are currently living in a domestic violence shelter. She said that she has arranged for family members to care for her children when she goes to jail.
