I'm sorry if this has been mentioned in this thread or elsewhere, but try searching on "V" and you'll understand my dilemma.

So, I just saw a sneak preview of ABC's "V" on Hulu and Inara from Firefly is the lead alien. Needless to say I already love the show.

I am so far behind! I thought I got caught up, but then y'all are talking about Community and Glee and I'm like, "huh? Did I see that one?"

Anywho the cable satellite dude comes today with the DVR, so I should be in good shape the rest of the season. Here's hoping!

So, the hivemind is liking Community? I'm kind of undecided. My only two actual out loud :giggle: moments were "el tigre chino" and when protagonist guy told Chevy Chase that his Spanish conversation homework was strangely and very specifically critical of the state of Israel. Oh, and when John Oliver first showed up, but that was more loljohnoliver than anything on the actual show.

I was crying laughing during the actual presentation montage. Especially during the flag-waving part. What was it, USA and Israel? Israel and Palestine? I forget, but either way I was howling.

I'm sticking with football. Manchester United and Chelsea are tied atop the Premiership, and Real Madrid and Barcelona are both undefeated in La Liga. It should be a great year.

I read that NBC renewed all its comedies. The network is struggling because of its idiotic Leno call. It'll take any scraps of ratings or critical acclaim it can get.

First, I wish I could thousand thank liv for posting that.

Second, the only good thing about the stupidity that is Leno is that NBC is forced to give other shows a chance. That being said, I think Community is the only new NBC show I watch.

Also, I love Ahbed's gimick.

Do you watch Community? It's the most recent credits stinger with the alternate Abed and Troy doing the "donde esta la bibliotequa" bit.

Edit: I edited the Hulu link out and put an NBC link in. You might have better luck with that.

Damns, still can't seem to open it.

I loved that bit, Community is extremely funny.

I just watched the entire 4-minute film that they showed clips of in the most recent ep. It was also on Hulu. :sadcheer:

I can watch the episodes on streaming channels. Usually on Megavideo, although they are very annoying. They cut you off after 72 minutes. And they define 72 minutes however they feel like it. Can be less than half an hour if you are unlucky. Then you have to wait 50 minutes or something :madrant:

Did y'all recognize the alternate Abed? He's Zaboo in The Guild. Also, Vork had a cameo in Glee this week. Y'all do watch The Guild, don't you?

Sorry, nope.

When I saw Troy in the video, I was like, "awesome! Coolio cameo!" but when I saw his face for real I was like darn.

Who was Vork in Glee?
