On the internet, and no.
But I have been corrected that it is the Wild Green Yonder movie, not new material.

Re: Good News, Everyone!
I knew without a doubt while I was watching it that the math was solid. I trust those nerdy writers and I didn't feel the need to look into it myself.
What I did not know was that the theorem was brand new and was created and proved by a writer specifically for the problem in the episode. That's a whole new level.

Re: Good News, Everyone!
I've been pretty meh on this season so far, but I finally caught up on last week's episode. Easily the best of the season so far, and right up there with some of the classics. I think Futurama works best when they manage to pull off both a sci-fi high concept (Bender gets overclocked!) and an emotional character piece (Leela has doubts about her future with Fry!) in the same story. It helps when they can unobtrusively fit in some real world issue snark (Mom's lawsuit) and keep the jokes rolling (the ceiling fan callbacks cracked me right the hell right up).
Best exchange:
"It's true! I clicked without reading!" "And I slightly modified a thing that I own!" "We're monsters!"

Re: Good News, Everyone!
You guys, I think there was a secret coded message tonight in numbers. I am so not good at solving this stuff. Usually I don't even notice, but even if I do, I'm not good at them.
So the first thing we noticed was the one robot at the tattoo parlor with the 10011101 tattoo on his back. I looked it up and it's 157 in decimal, ¥ in extended ascii. Nothing really interesting except some bizarre shit I couldn't follow on Yahoo answers. It is prime, anyway.
Then the judge's number was 724. We try to figure out if 157 divides it or anything interesting, but no. Then Bender reads off that guy's address for a really long time, and we were like, fuck that!
Then there was some innocuous stuff with the clock changing from 11:59 to 12:00 just like they did in the first robot planet episode, and a really long closeup of the buttons on the cell phone. Was that some kind of clue?
Then I stopped paying attention for a while, then the robot church prayer ended with "...1001, Amen."
After that, I don't know what, because I went to bed, but the point is, am I crazy? There's something going on there, right? I would ask reddit, but I'm not talking to them right now. You guys let me know if you hear anything, kay?

Re: Good News, Everyone!
There was a Star Trek (TNG) episode named 11001001 about four aliens who communicated digitally - these 'binars' were individually known as 00, 01, 10, and 11 (respectively binary for zero, one, two, and three) and their names combined formed the episode title.
However, that doesn't fit this puzzle.

Re: Good News, Everyone!
Judge 724 may not mean anything - Judge 723 was similar but got assassinated in episode 6ACV14 (season 08, episode 05 ' The Silence of the Clamps').

Is it just me or have the recent episodes been... a lot worse than the classics?

It's not just you. They seem to be flopping between clever but not amazing and sit-com retread.

Re: Good News, Everyone!
I haven't bothered watching since the Fall of '10.
Fox killed the magic when they canceled the series back in '03.
The movies aren't funny, or are even hard to watch, at least for me.
