There's some first-rate whitesplaining from the 100% non-racist governor of Alabama right here.
An eight-year-old Alabama girl who was really looking forward to her ninth birthday next week went missing on Tuesday and was found dead behind an abandoned building on Thursday.
Gov. Robert Bentley felt really bad and offered some supportive words. These cases often arise when some pervy degenerate pustule-infested fuckhole grabs a child off the street and kills her. However, this family was BLACK. Thus:

I can sort of understand the thinking on this—I imagine Coca-Cola didn't want the world awash in personalized cans dedicated to Heywood Jablowme—but still if they couldn't have found a more elegant and less Eurocentric solution to the problem, then maybe they shouldn't have offered the promotion in the first place.

Maybe because I didn't see the Help until way later, but I always think of her as that kid's mom in Doubt. She was on screen something like 7 or 8 minutes and she got an Oscar nomination. Crazy powerful performance.

The victim's father said the verdict made Jacksonville "a shining example that you could have a jury made of mostly white people, white men," that delivers justice in a racially charged case.
"Hopefully," Davis said, "this is a start where we don't have to look at the makeup of a jury anymore."

In other news, CSKA Moscow's fans are so bad that their match with City is going to be closed to the public. I don't know if they will allow cameras or reporters so there may be nothing but the score coming out of it. This is because of how they behaved when they played Roma. They had a different penalty after their fans racially abused one of our players last year.

It's so outrageous and has such a phony feel to it that it seems almost like a practical joke - except it's completely real.
