Re: More marriage for teh ghey
Ok just bumping the first ghey thrad I see for this because it does not merit its own thrad.
So McDonald's made an ad to run in France about how gay people can come in to any McDonald's restaurant in France and just cold buy food exactly like if they were straight. Ok, that is not exactly what it says. It is more like McDonald's is not going to judge young attractive gay men who want to spend money in their restaurants. (Still no lesbians allowed obviously.) Anyway apparently the Internets love this ad because of inclusiveness and whatnot. Here it is:
&feature=player_embedded
I don't see anything really wrong with it, and I guess it is rather sweet in some ways, it's just a little odd for a fast food restaurant. But probably McDonald's marketing research team in France knows a bunch of stuff that I do not, because they are really fucking great at marketing, and does anyone actually give a shit. ANYWAY you are probably wondering why this is even a poast, because this is not even interesting at all, it is just some dumb ad from France.
Well Bill O'Reilly is a very serious person and he has some questions

Shit, and I thought you and Gonzo were going to make a "very special announcement" or something. Glad that Naruto's heart won't be broken.
My that was rather subtle for a McDonald's ad.
I prefer the "Have it your way" ad series, where you know my way is either Jihad or Socialism.

Well, I guess it's inclusive for McDonald's, but his dad still doesn't know that he's gay, and he's apparently not open about it...
Yet McDonald's said there's "obviously nothing wrong with being gay in France" or something to that effect.
Also, the fact that there's a halal McDonald's just shows that yes, there is an Al Qaeda-fied McDonald's.

This is because of al Qaeda's decentralized clandestine cell system.

Re: More marriage for teh ghey
You mean, "Qingdai's decentralized clandestine gay socialized cell system." It's better than the central party bureau of Anarchy, that I used to lead.
Yes, I can see how Billy would be shocked that McDonald's is an OK place to take your closeted French teen. That would never happen in the US.
We all know that they go to Hooters here. Pretend to enjoy the salad, kid!

So Bill doesn't care for Big Gay Mac, eh? At least the halal McDonald's might let you order the falafel thing.
And presumably Rush is more a Los Pollos Hermanos kind of guy.

I know that, I just found the McDonald's ad to be roughly similar in spin-ability.

I think the real message in that commercial is that gender-segregated schools turn kids gay.

That's an interesting logical leap. I wonder if there are homophobes who have actually made that argument.

I think the real real hidden message about that, not the kind that only Bill O'Reilly can detect, is to establish the socioeconomic class of the family. Single-sex education, in addition to a useful plot element, is probably also code for middle/upper middle class. And look, they're eating at McDonald's!

But ouch! Learn English, Reuters:

In the United States, gay marriage remains a frought political issue, with laws varying widely from state to state. Vermont was the first state to allow same-sex civil unions in 1999, followed by Massachusetts and Connecticut and others.

Re: More marriage for teh ghey
This has been bugging me for a while since I 1st read this thread. If a single unmarried person can adopt a child why cant a gay married couple?
