I wonder how long till both the magazine and editor change their names and move to a different state.
The cook source website is now down, and this has brought to light a ton of other stolen work published by cook source.

A FB page listing all the stolen articles. Looks like this whole "magazine" was stolen work. If I knew publishing was that easy, I would have stole myself up a periodical years ago.

I'm guessing not so much huge cajones as just really, really stupid. She probably actually believes what she's saying about everything on the internet being public domain, and she's been getting away with it for a long time because nobody noticed it before. (Apparently, it's some local freebie that sells advertising to small local businesses.)

Wow she really is stupid, and now she will probably lose everything. While internet rage is great for the lolz you generally don't steal from Martha fucking Stewart (she's been on the inside and will cut you for a cig), Disney or the Food Network and get away with it. So far it doesn't seem like Cooks Source wrote any new content or got the rights to anything they published.
This may turn into a great lesson on the power of the internet, especially when it feels wronged, and why college really hammers home that "don't plagiarize" lesson.
