I had a shot at a two, but before I entered it, I thought of three different words that were equally good. Rather than guess for a two but risk a four, I opted for a certain three by making my second guess a word that couldn't possibly be the answer, but covered letters from each of the possible solutions.

I duly got a three, but then I was regretful, because the answer was the first solution word I thought of. If I'd been braver and more impulsive (or been forced by hard mode) then I'd have got that two!

Man, I failed at nerdle today, and it indeed doesn't give you the share option when you screw the pooch. I had enough information to get it in time for the last guess, but I didn't see that until I saw the solution. D'oh!

The one and only time I played that--I can say now because it's old--my first guess was choad, so I would have gotten it in one if they hadn't missplet it 'chode.'
