Also, grifting woomeister Marianne Williamson is a "major Democrat" according to the Associated Press.
And now there is one less "major Democrat" in the race. Ms. Williamson has apparently concluded that she's squeezed all she can out of this particular grift.

I’m not following shit too closely. So I don’t know a Duckworth. Except for the man I used to work for who was an Endocrinologist. Please do not tell me he’s running for president.

There are not a ton of people I would not pick over Trump.

I am well aware that many people would prefer him, I'm just pointing out that I personally wouldn't. This is because his entire platform is basically killing me, most of my family, and also lots of our neighbors.

Early voting just started for the primary here. We have open primaries, and since I am unaffilaited I can choose which one to vote in. As I will back any Democrat in the general, I am voting in the Republican primary exclusively to vote, in descending order of preference:
for the losers (Nikki Haley)
against every incumbent
for the weakest candidates (as you go down ticket, it is actually hard to pick among the no-name mouthbreathing chud freaks)

"Major Democrat" Marianne Williamson has "unsuspended" her campaign after finishing ahead of Dean Phillips in Michigan yesterday. Apparently, she's concluded that there's more meat left on that grift bone than previously surmised.

What a digusting party.
What's the scuttlebutt, Chuck? Is the actual, literal Holocaust denier currently serving as N.C.'s lieutenant governor going to be the GOP nominee for governor?

Disgusting party for sure. But what are the redeeming qualities of Any party? Gonna go all full Jesus here and I’m pretty sure He’d see it for the corrupt fraud let disgusting politics it is and have NOTHING to do with it. And with the exception of a couple your lack in belief in the Lord, I’d be willing to bet most of you would feel the same. It’s impossible to live in the US and not be unwittingly or wittingly complicit in this modern day Sodhham and Gomorrah. Or at very least the belief that All politicians are corrupt.

Yes, I believe so. The only person who stands a chance is the current state Treasurer, who has some things going for him (he is a white guy) but also some serious deficiencies (his hate-spewing is very inferior to the frontrunners, and he has not managed to capture Trump's attention).
I voted for the treasurer guy.
Amusingly, Mark H. Robinson - no relation to Mark K. Robinson - is running as a Democrat for Lt. Governor (which may be the stupidest elected office in the country and need not exist at all) and I wish him well.

Well at least he's good looking. And he doesn't sound like he's drunk off his as when he's giving a speech. video posting soon. And Save Our Shitters is perfect.
IS that it? Conservative propaganda will prop him up instead of make fun of him like Biden and that’s why you support DeSantis?
Otherwise I’m curious, what is it that DeSantis brings that gets your vote?
He’s not getting in now. Hes out. I believed he was the best candidate because he was the most moral family man. But I’m not so gullible to believe he won it have turned into a sleazy politician. It’s the nature of the beast in Washington. It would really do my heart good if the majority of the US population would be one so disillusioned and stop voting and have nothing to do with that Sham.

I considered voting for him just on the off-chance that it would confuse Republican Mark Robinson supporters into voting for him instead.
But then I was also concerned it would also confuse Democrats into voting for the bad Mark Robinson or leaving Lt Gov blank. So I have no idea whether that would be helpful. I left that line blank, tbh.

Gonna say that given your expressed opinions about immigration, you probably missed the point of the story.
The story is about people in the town wanting to rape visitors to their town, while the "righteous" guy in the story instead offers them hospitality. Of course, the bits about Lot offering up his daughters to rape instead, Lot's wife being killed for the fairly minor "sin" of rubbernecking and Lot's daughters getting him blackout drunk and then raping him make the story a poor source of any moral lessons overall.
On the other hand, you probably think the story is all about how they wanted to do the wrong kind of rape (gay rape, ewwww!) and so it's really a story about gay sex being naughty bad and nothing to do with hospitality. And if so, I will reiterate Chuck's comment and say go fuck yourself.
and he has not managed to capture Trump's attention
As opposed to Robinson, who PAB described as "Martin Luther King on steroids," which apparently is a very good thing in the contemporary GOP.

Happy trails and fare thee well to the ill-conceived vanity exercise known as the Dean Phillips for President campaign. In our state, ol' Dean managed to finish ahead of woomeister Marianne Williamson but still far behind the second place Dem, "Uncommitted Delegate." Ups to the guy for keeping his word to call it quits if he failed on Super Tuesday, I guess.
Also over is the U.S. Senate career of Dem turned independent and starry-eyed hippie turned hedge fund/private equity firm champion Kyrsten Sinema. She may be a bit surprised upon finding out how little use she is to her masters outside the Senate, but hey, not our concern.
The race for that Senate seat is down to Democrat Ruben Gallego and slobbering trumpanzee maniac Kari Lake, who spent a great deal of time hanging out at the Florida Trash Palace last year, apparently lobbying for a VP nomination, until she got the "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here" treatment.
