We are bracing ourselves for the worst windstorm yet. It will be here this evening, expecting gusts up to 90. So I have my candles gathered, oil lamps filled, and the wood for the stove piled by the back door. Bring it on!

We do get windstorms; however, this isn't normal to have this many storms this strong. They also seem to be coming in sets of three. Just get done with one and it clears up for a day and than wham another one. This is #3 this week.

My lights are already flickering, rain is beating on the roof, but the wind hasn't arrived, yet.

We should be all right, but I'm sure we will lose power. It's annoying but I don't think it's life threatening, unless we venture out under falling trees. Hubby has to ride the ferry home from work, so hopefully the wind won't be howling at that time, otherwise they shut them down over 55 mph winds (if I'm remembering correctly).

972,565 Well it is getting windy down here, and it is supposed to get worse. Already had the power flicker a few times. I just thought you guys were getting the worst of it.
