I feel oddly vindicated by this...not in a hostile way, just as someone who is used to defending the use of depth-psychological theory (which includes, but is not limited to psychoanalysis) in literature and culture against people who have only the vaguest idea of either typically culled from bad Seinfeld episodes and even worse 80s movies.
Is it wrong that my musings stole the first post on page 1000?
I suppose I should offer something more useful for such a momentous occasion.
