Your opinion is irrelevant Sidhe. You don't even know why man's will is not free. :sadcheer:
Neither do you and that is the rub!
You choose to believe that the issue of free will vs. determinism has not been solved...and probably never will. But it has been solved. That's the rub. :)
I don't choose I have no free will.

So what's the problem? :sadcheer:

There is no irony. There's just a lack of interest. If you really aren't interested in this knowledge, then I'm asking you to kindly stop posting because people reading this thread are trying to learn something and there hasn't been any progress in a long time.

:awesome:

You think people reading this thread are trying to learn something from you? I think people actually have learned something in this thread -- for instance, people who read The Lone Ranger's outstanding essay on how we actually see learned something. That was the essay that a certain ignorant and dishonest dumbass refused to read. Can we guess who that is, boys and girls?

Hey, peacegirl, let's all learn something from you. Start with this: Explain how it is possible for people on earth to see the sun instantaneously if God turns it on at noon, when this is completely contradicted by the theory of relativity and refuted by numerous experiments that have been explained to you in detail. Dumbass.

I learnt a lot here. Mostly about how little impact reality makes on religious ideas.

Explain is probably the problem with this post. Peacegirl is light on explanations and big on absolute conclusions without them.

Typical rookie mistake. The Wisdom does not include cakes. It has puddings.
Rookie mistake: you didn't include cookies or Jaffa cakes. Don't feel bad it's an easy mistake to make, once you get to the level of Jedi Master. You will know...

Actually that is quite appropriate, since Peacegirl hasn't given any valid answers, which is to be expected since she is hawking an invalid book.

The Irony is that there were some who came to learn something, but Peacegirl has provided no real knowledge and no explination, just a lot of fiction and fantasy. The lack of progress is only from Peacegirls lack of information and even worse, she doesn't get the joke herself. It's really sad that Deacegirl is so dim that Irony and the joke need to be repeatedly explained to her.

It is not my problem that you are an imbecile who is totally oblivious to the deep philosophical/scientific debate over presentism vs. eternalism, and oblivious to the concepts of four-dimensionalism, temporal parts and perdurance. Also, since you, like your father, are wholly ignorant of both special and general relativity, not recognizing that both rule out real-time seeing, you are also wholly ignorant of Minkowski spacetime and the concept of the block universe. All of this attests to nothing more than your profound and ineradicable ignorance.

I didn't demand anything Sidhe. I said that if you are not interested in this book please stop posting because many of the posts are completely off topic. And you actually believe that you have free will just because you can choose to stay here, probably in spite?

I'm not failing at all. Your response is my success. You are under a compulsion to stay in this thread, which gives you no free choice. Now show me that you have free will by never coming back. I bet you can't do it. ;)

Words, definitions, and formulas mean nothing as far as reality is concerned unless reality can confirm it. And reality does not confirm that we live in a different time than the present. You are kooky David. You can believe anything you want, but be careful because the men in the white coats might take you away. :yup:

Dumbass.
I'll explain this when you can explain how we can live in the future and the past, as well as the present, without your logic being completely full of holes? :D
Words, definitions, and formulas mean nothing as far as reality is concerned unless reality can confirm it. And reality does not confirm that we live in a different time than the present. You are kooky David. You can believe anything you want, but be careful because the white coats might take you away in the paddy wagon. :yup:
No to you: words thoughts and definitions mean nothing to you. Unless words nothing and definitions can be corrupted to mean nothing.

You are a fraud.

Hey, I have a valid question, asshat. Your dingbat father claims that if God turned on the sun at noon, people on earth would see the sun and the reflected of the moon instantaneously, but not the reflected light off their neighbor for eight and a half minutes. How is that possible? :foocl:
Dingbat, repeat how it is possible to live in the present, the past, and the future? Show me how flawless your logic is?
Why don't we start by assuming you have a case, no one needs to show anything at all peacegirl, you, and only you, need to start making sense. First make some sense then...

Ironically I think the opposite is true and it is you that doesn't understand anything.

:sadcheer:
That is what we call irony. Learn about it.

There is no irony. There's just a lack of interest. If you really aren't interested in this knowledge, then I'm asking you to kindly stop posting because people reading this thread are trying to learn something and there hasn't been any progress in a long time.
You truly believe that?

Then there is no hope for you!
If that's how you feel, then please stop posting.

I bet you can't do it. ;)
Your a liar.
