CloudFlare error

has been sometimes slow to load pages for me for the last week or so. And today a couple of times I've got a CloudFlare error, whatever that is :shrug:

Other sites are still loading at normal speed for me. Has anyone else noticed similar problems?

I got a CloudFlare error last night. I haven't noticed pages loading slowly, but I am at home with slow internets right now.

I got another one just now - couldn't log in for about 10 minutes.

Slow loading randomly, for a few minutes at a time. This could in part be our internet service, but when I redirect to another site usually the loading speed returns to normal.

Cloudflare is a free caching service I enabled (at the recommendation of URLjet) a few weeks ago. It's supposed to improve performance, not disrupt it. :mutter:

I had to get up, out of my chair, unplug the router and plug it back in last night, just to get back on the internet!!

I BLAME TEH CLOUDWARE :glare:

Now I sometimes get to see this advert when I browse to a new page on :ff:

After a delay - sometimes a minute or more, the page I wanted appears, but it behaves as though I'm logged out, viewing as a guest.

I don't have to log back in though - refreshing the page after Cloud Flare has finished its delaying duties gets things back to normal.

* ceptimus is not at all impressed by Cloud Flare. :nope:

Hmm, that's crap. I'll disable CloudFlare and let's see what happens over the next few days performancewise.

Seems better to me, so far. Pages now load fast most of the time.

Occasionally there is a delay of 20 seconds or so, but now after the delay, I get to see the page I want.

Before you disabled it, I got more frequent delays, and often had to reload the page manually after seeing a Cloud Flare error message and/or advert.
