There is a misconception with Hackers in mainstream media.
I've always been fascinated by the ability to reconfiguring components of a certain device, to do something it was not intended to do. Hackers are not malicious computer geeks bent of anarchy as T.V and News might have you think.
This is kinda web comics. The broadcast station qubo does kids cartoons 24/7 mixed with bad ads for mailing in your gold or Billy Mays products, etc. Between shows they run short cartoons called The Zimmer Twins. On the qubo website you can put together your own Zimmer Twins cartoon, using a lot of amusing variables. http://www.zimmertwins.com/
So I'm reading Questionable Content from the beginning, cuz I kind of like the one-offs that get posted to reddit and I want to be able to follow the who's-who of the story. The thing is 6 years old, and at five strips per week, it comes out to 1500-something strips. Fine, I knew that going in.
What I did not know going in was that in 2003, it was one of the most pathetic author self-insert fantasies available. Shy "indie" dweeb has hordes of hot baristas fighting over him, despite his complete social ineptitude? Yeah... right.
Whatever. I'm hanging in there because I know it gets better. Plus I like the robot.

Wow, you guys weren't kidding, this is painful.
Do they really need to mention how 'indie' they are every other sentence? Not even deathly serious gother than thou kids do it that much.
