I looked at a used Ford pickup today that had a skull shift knob and metal brake, clutch, and accelerator pedals with skulls with LED eyes on them. If I were to buy it, those are going up on eBay.

It was immediately obvious as a 'vanitas' style picture. However it also makes me think of a glob of mucous, which might be even more disturbing to the soldier...
