Default vista

I'm just wondering if anyone else has screwed around with the the 64 bit windows vista beta. I'm trying to giving it a try, but I cant seem to figure out how to set up a dual boot with it. Only thing I can figure is to externally locate my hard drives so i can switch them back and forth (I have 1 external sata2 conector on my computer)

I haven't played with it yet, but I just read that MS has completed development and turned it over to the manufacturers, with an anticipated retail release of January 30th.

I've played with it a bit, but I can't help you with the dual boot. I just have it running in a virtual machine.

I haven't used any of the beta versions of Vista. I'm afraid my 64-bit AMD processor and 1 GB of RAM won't be enough. :)

I'm actually quite happy with xp right now, only reason I'm looking at vista is so i can run directx 10. the dirctx 10 vid cards are out, but they wont be semi affordable for some time yet.
I have a computer with power to spare, that is also highly upgradeable, so i'm not to concerned about the higher system requirements. I spent a few bucks on my mother board so I'd get the most upgradeablilty with it. I could spend over 10 grand plugging top notch stuff into it right now, but I just don't have that kind of cash.

Besides I intend to wait until i find a cracked version on share reactor. I haven't bough an os since windows 5x. and I'm not spending $300 on vista when it probably wont be compatible with half my old stuff.
